Index of Economic Freedom - An annual report that measures economic freedom across the based on trade freedom, business freedom, investment freedom,
and property rights. Published by the American-based Heritage Foundation.
Human Rights Watch (HRW) - International human rights organization.
International Freedom of Expression Exchange (IFEX) - A network of free expression groups that monitors violations worldwide.
Media Foundation of West Africa (MFWA) - An organization promoting the rights and freedoms of the media in west Africa.
Media Institute of Southern Africa (MISA) - An organization that promotes a free, independent, and pluralistic media in SADC (Southern African Development Community)
member countries.
Mo Ibrahim Foundation - An organization committed to supporting great African leadership that will improve the economic and social prospects
of the people of Africa. Publishes the Ibrahim Index of African Governance, which uses indicators across four main categories (Safety and Rule of Law, Participation and Human Rights, Sustainable Economic
Opportunity, and Human Development) to measure the delivery of public goods and services to citizens by governments and nonstate
actors.
